ATI330 Indigenous Networking And Collaboration

The purpose of this unit is to advance students' knowledge and skills in networking and collaboration as an effective way of addressing a range of key issues in Indigenous communities. It critically examines definitions of alliance building and the values, purposes, benefits, strategies and skills informing a range of collaborative and cooperative strategies in community development practice. Students will become acquainted in practical ways with the challenges involved in creating alliances, collaborations and partnerships in culturally, socially and economically diverse and tense settings.
