This unit is only available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Accounting Honours or the Bachelor of Commerce Honours.
To conduct successful academic research there are a number of critical competencies and skills required to plan and implement a targeted enquiry designed to answer a specific research question.
This unit is designed to offer students the opportunity to develop critical skills and knowledge required to plan and implement research designed to address a specific research questions or problem. Students will learn to critically analyse and interpret different research designs; define research questions; make decisions about primary and secondary data collection; apply sampling and analysis methods and effectively report results. They will also learn about the importance of ethical conduct in conducting research in both domestic and international business contexts.
