Pre-service teachers are introduced to overarching themes in curriculum design, task assessment and pedagogical approaches in teaching Economics and Business in the Junior Secondary classroom. This unit develops pre-service teachers' in-depth multi-dimensional thinking about units of work, lesson design, business and report planning and documentation of effective student learning according to Australian Curriculum Economics and Business. Pre-service teachers will think logically, critically, creatively and analytically to develop strategies to meet various learning needs of students in classroom settings, based upon reviewing the contemporary literature and research activities throughout this unit.
