This unit aims to enable students to apply the economic principles and methods progressively developed in level 100 and 200 economics units. Students will be encouraged to construct suitable economic methodologies to analyse and interpret important current real world social, institutional and economic phenomenon with policy and private and public sector decision making implications. This will require students to analyse and interpret current, dynamic, emerging economic issues and to provide options to senior management on the likely macroeconomic and microeconomic implications of such issues for the wider economy as well as individuals and organizations.
