ENV402 Natural Resources and Indigenous Livelihoods

Incorporating Australian and international examples, this unit provides current and potential natural resource managers with an understanding of the opportunities and challenges involved in developing natural resources for livelihoods, and the skills required to participate in a diverse range of conservation, commercial and cultural enterprises.

In order to link theory and practice together, the course includes a compulsory field component to explore and experience local case studies and expert knowledge. This will involve a field trip to iconic destinations such as the Daly River region. Note: this unit requires Internet access.
