This unit is one of three Honours thesis units ENV751, ENV752, ENV753 (previously coded HON431, HON432, HON433), in which candidates undertaking the Bachelor of Science Honours program (BSCIH) in an environmental science discipline, may enrol to complete their research project. The research project comprises 60 credit points (75%) of the total of 80 credit points required for the award.
ENV751 is worth 10 credit points and is normally taken with ENV753 (30 credit points) to constitute a full load for one semester i.e. 40 credit points, in a full-time program. For part-time candidates, ENV751 is usually taken with SID401 Research Writing to gain 20 credit points in one semester, and with a specialist elective to gain 20 credit points in another semester.
All candidates need to enrol in one or both of the other two Honours thesis units mentioned above to complete their research requirements in this course.
