GOV502 Government Finance and Economics

This is a postgraduate unit and only available to students enrolled in postgraduate courses.

The purpose of this unit is to introduce you to key issues and developments in financial and economic management. The issues and developments are selected to accord with current matters and concerns within and beyond the Northern Territory. They can include the management of the budgetary process, the significance of accrual accounting, the requirements of financial reporting and auditing, the economic implications of climate change mitigation, the development of trade, employment and regional development policies, and forms of public ownership and regulation.

Online enrolment is not available for this unit. To enrol, students will be required to complete the Change of Enrolment Form, available on the CDU website, for approval by the unit coordinator.
