HEA573 Applied Health Project B

Students will apply and consolidate prior learning in research theory by completing a master's project. The unit will enable students to deepen their knowledge of an aspect of professional practice through the rigour of scientific inquiry. The student will develop new skills for searching databases and retrieving information, collating and synthesising evidence, developing researchable questions and proposing methods to address them, by designing and implementing solutions to problems in the practice setting. Each graduate will select a clinical issue and via empirical study, facilitate the development of analytical and critical skills, as well as applied skills related to research. Upon completion, student will have critically considered the principles that underpin the characteristics, implications and boundaries of an extended clinical aspect or role in a chosen area of practice.
