The purpose of this unit is to examine the history of the five countries of mainland Southeast Asia: Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. This unit will draw upon the student's historical knowledge of Northern Australia and its regional neighbours providing an opportunity to engage in analysis of issues and evaluation of historical texts at an advanced level.
