This is a specialist elective unit in the Bachelor of Health Science for all the streams. It provides students with the opportunity to plan a project linked to their specific areas of Health Promotion, Indigenous Health, Community Health Development or Health Services Management. Students will negotiate with specific healthcare communities or services to identify what type of project might be required and an agreed strategy for implementation and reporting which will be undertaken in HSC329. The projects might include: policy development, a business plan, developing resources such as a health promotion kit or health education program. Small group projects may be negotiated. Students must successfully complete this unit prior to progressing to HSC329.
