This unit is designed to provide an understanding of the underpinning system of international law, which governs its content, processes and institutions. You will be introduced to the sources of and participants in international law, to its primary courts and organisations and to several areas of special interest including the use of armed force, international humanitarian law and an introduction to economic and political approaches to the system of international law as a whole.
