This unit introduces the learner to the Pharmacy Act, regulations standards and schemes. It will also introduce the learner to the role of the pharmacist in medications distribution in the Australian models of health care and includes Latin terminology and pharmaceutical calculations, dispensing, and communication skills.
There will be a one day intensive in the final week of teaching where the final assessment will be conducted on the Casuarina Campus.
