This is a third year unit. The unit presents the theoretical and experimental aspects of learning and motivation. Classical and operant conditioning and social learning paradigms will be discussed. The role of motivation as an integral feature of learning is highlighted. The application to behavioural problems and clinical issues is featured throughout the unit.
