In this unit students apply the principles and processes of screen media and media design to creative projects of increased complexity. The focus is on research-led practice where screen media and media design knowledge (principles, conventions, theory and history) forms the basis of creative decision-making. Students are responsible for project management, planning and research to inform and progress their creative work. Throughout their production process students evaluate and exercise informed critical judgement in relation to their practice. Those wishing to expand the scope of their project over the course of a year can elect to do so across Digital Media Project 1 and 2. NO TEXTBOOK REQUIRED |
