Students will present a proposal for the semester program via a seminar presentation in the first weeks of the unit. From this, the detail of the program will be determined in conjunction with the lecturer. Final year students are expected to work more independently than in the previous years and have established their own methodology and style, however, assistance and critique will be available where required. Discussion and critique of students' work will occur in group tutorials throughout the semester. In addition there will be several seminars on contemporary theory. The final semester largely comprises the selection and presentation of the final folio. Attention will be given to critically reading the work and the identification of its strengths and weaknesses for the purpose of improving the overall quality of the exhibition. Students will also be required to attend a seminar program for critique of their work and to explore the methodology, process and possibilities of exhibition practices.
