Drawing is an essential tool for evaluating and transforming ideas which provide a practice to the fundamental disciplines of art. In this unit students, will develop skills in representational, interpretive, and expressive modes of drawing through a series of class exercises and research projects. The unit will present basic historical and contemporary overviews of drawing and will develop a practice based research approach to the development of creative works. Students are expected to use their imagination and originality in the execution of the program. Students will require access to Adobe Photoshop throughout the semester.
