The Northern Territory is 1.5 million square kilometres and when it comes to photographing it is very extensive due to the content and diversification of the landscape and wildlife. Nine years ago I started photographing the NT and every 3 years have produced a new volume in the 3 part series of Capturing the Territory. This volume is primarily captured with the world leading, state of the art camera system from Phase One using the 80 megapixel IQ series. In some ways the longer I photograph the Northern Territory the easier it gets because of the knowledge only time can give you, but in other ways it gets harder because I need new subject matter even though it might be in the same location. All 3 volumes in this series contain distinctly different images portraying the diversification of the NT.
