Study Tip of the Week: Avoid Procrastination

Aaah procrastination, that old chestnut. Sucker of time,  killer of productivity. And while not all forms of procrastination are bad, as we explored recently, they can take their toll on your ability to get things done, and done well. To avoid procrastination, there is a simple 3 step process you might try. 1. Recognise procrastination is at work ( this can sometimes be half the battle) . 2. Understand why you are procrastinating. (disorganisation or disinterest) 3. Adopt a strategy for avoiding it. Get organised, develop a reward system for completing tasks and/or structure your tasks differently. Whatever you do, avoid the procrastination rabbit hole.
