This unit will provide you with the opportunity to explore common clinical presentations within your nursing speciality. The focus of the unit is on theoretical concepts underpinning the assessment and management of common presentations within a nursing specialty. You will compare Indigenous and non-Indigenous client experiences and consider socio-economic, cultural and contextual influences on population health in the region. The unit will prepare you for further developing your specialty clinical practice in subsequent units. You must be working at least 0.6FTE in your speciality area in order to complete the clinical requirements of this unit.
