This unit provides an opportunity for students to develop their knowledge and skills in a language-based unit to an area of specific language interest and apply their knowledge and skills to the processes of negotiating with knowledge holders to develop an appropriate and respectful translation. Students are appointed a supervisor to oversee the in-depth process of developing a topic and negotiating that topic and the translation with the right knowledge holders determined in consultation with staff from the School.
