ETL304 Science Literacy

This unit will introduce the student to the world of science and its various disciplines. The student will gain an understanding of scientific phenomena, know what it is to work scientifically, be able to identify and correct commonly held misconceptions in science; and, gain understanding of an Indigenous perspective on science. This unit primarily caters to the pre-service teacher but other tertiary students who wish to enrich their understanding of science may enrol.
