This unit is the first of three in a series on hearing rehabilitation. Through lectures and online activities, students will learn to apply patient-centered and ethical practice to work with clients in the selection of hearing devices, fitting, and follow-up. Practical skills in ear impression taking, device selection, and device fitting and verification will be included.
Students are expected to attend a 5 day face-to-face intensive as part of their learning in this subject.
