NUR113 Professional Nursing Concepts
This unit is a required unit for students articulating into the Bachelor of Nursing course with approved Advanced Standing for lower level or overseas nursing qualifications. Students will review their knowledge about the role, scope and responsibilities of the Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse in Australia and will further develop their knowledge of the professional standards, codes and guidelines that underpin safe, competent nursing practice in Australia. Students further develop academic and information literacy and integrity skills necessary for tertiary level study and their understanding of the role of research and critical thinking and clinical reasoning in safe, competent professional nursing practice in Australia.
*This unit should only be undertaken by students entering the BNRSG program as international students or Enrolled Nurses.*
