SPE206 Health, Exercise and Sport Psychology
Students will gain an understanding of psychological factors that influence performance based on exemplary and contemporary practice. The emphasis will be on psychological processes and strategies that enhance individual, group and team performance and processes.
The psychological impact of injury, disability and illness of athletes will be introduced. Students will analyse psychological principles as they apply to physical self-enhancement. Attention will be given to coaching behaviours and their effect upon athlete performance. It is a requirement of this unit to have access to the CDU website and the Internet.
