Study Tip of the Week: Feed Yourself, Feed Your Brain

We’ve all reached for that chocolate bar during a late night study binge, and while sugary treats can give you a brief energy burst, they actually can make your system and your brain sluggish by placing additional pressure on your liver. To keep your body and mind firing on all cylinders feed your brain with healthy  foods such as wholegrains, oily fish like salmon, trout, sardines, and instead of reaching for those sugary treats, reach for nuts, blueberries, blackcurrants and pumpkin seeds, which will quench your craving for sweetness and better yet are all scientifically proven to improve cognitive function.
