Out-of-stock items - Backorders

If the complete order is not in stock, we will do our best to fulfil it and send the back-ordered items within 10 business days. We do not guarantee backorder timeframes due to publisher and transport delays. We endeavor to source your item and receive it in-store within 10 business days.

We may choose to split your order, if it is over 5kg combined or some items are out of stock. If your order is sent out in multiple shipments, you will receive multiple tracking numbers unless it is a bundle or pack. We do not charge for multiple shipments.

Orders of bundles or packs where parts are out of stock, the in stock items are shipped in 1-2 days except after 1.30 pm on Fridays. Out of stock items are shipped within 1-2 days of arriving back in stock, per the postage option chosen.

Pre-Orders

Pre-orders allow you to pay for an item you want ahead of its availability at the Casuarina Campus store. Items not in stock are offered as a pre-order and we endeavour to source your product within 10 working business days.

Pre-order deliveries generally get dispatched the same day they arrive in store to ensure you get the item as soon as possible.

Click & Collect pre-orders will be ready for collection from the Casuarina Campus store, and a notification of readiness will be sent by SMS and email.

Please note that “pre-order” does NOT imply that you will receive the item earlier than any approximate dates given.

Please remember to include the standard mail delivery times when estimating when you will receive your pre-ordered item - this additional time is highlighted on our postage and delivery info page.

Payment

The CDU Bookshop accepts the following forms of payments.
These include:

• Cash for in-store shopping and account payments.
• Credit cards, MasterCard and Visa for instore, online and telephone purchases as well as account payments
• Banks and Credit Unions affiliated with the Australian EFTPOS system
• BasicsCard

• Charles Darwin University Direct Deposit

Please note: You cannot use your BasicsCard for gift cards/vouchers or cash-out transactions.

Credit Account Sales
