This unit addresses the key concepts in Electrical Engineering. Following an introduction, the students will be introduced to resistive circuits, inductance and capacitance, transient time domain responses, steady-state sinusoidal analysis, frequency responses, magnetic circuits and transformers, DC and AC machines, analysis and design of simple circuits including accepted notations, Kirchhoff's Current Law, Kirchhoff's Voltage Law and Power in electrical circuits.
