The unit develops pre-service teachers' in-depth specialised interdisciplinary pedagogical content knowledge for professional practice in Science and Technology. In this postgraduate unit, pre-service teachers review the contemporary literature to challenge their own and peers' existing understanding of the concepts and processes in science and technology teaching and learning for age appropriate classrooms. Pre-service teachers will critically analyse contemporary approaches, tools and techniques to align concepts and theories of science and technology to construct interdisciplinary connections in educational contexts.
