ETL501 Learning and Teaching Adolscents
This postgraduate unit will develop pre-service teachers' specialised knowledge for the professional practice of adolescent learning and teaching in a 21st Century context. Pre-service teachers will critically reflect on and synthesise the current research literature in line with the Australian Curriculum. Contemporary issues in secondary schooling, including technological advancements and access issues, are considered in the design and development of authentic learning experiences for adolescent students. Pre-service teachers will develop their abilities to interpret and transmit skills, knowledge and ideas in teaching and learning of adolescents throughout this unit.
