This unit extends upon the knowledge, skills and proficiency achieved in HEL301 and the two interconnected study themes covered in previous units: Greek language and culture. Students will develop advanced skills and knowledge in the Modern Greek language and literature improving conversational and compositional skills based on a variety of contemporary themes. Topics covered will extend students' understanding of history, modern society and contemporary issues in the context of Greek-Australian relations and Greek culture and tradition.
