HIT234 - Database Concepts
This unit examines the design and use of relational databases. Relational design principles, including enhanced entity-relationship modelling and normalisation, as well as SQL the standard query language for relational databases is covered. An overview of security, database administration issues, special purpose databases and database integration is provided.
This unit is reliant on on-line materials. Students must have access to a reliable high-speed broadband connection.
