IAS315 Digital Sound Recording and Design

In this unit students develop skills and inform their understanding of how sound is used as a creative and communicative tool. Students are introduced to concepts, principles and processes that underpin sound recording and sound design theory and practice. Emphasis is given to location sound recording, editing and design. Internal students will have access to the Adobe Creative Cloud on campus throughout the semester. External students will need access to audio editing software, Adobe Audition is recommended.
