This unit offers a critical examination and analysis of legal issues that cross national boundaries, legal systems, and legal cultures. This unit covers a range of topics, for example, transnational legal theory, the methodology of comparative law, international dispute settlement, extraterritorial application of domestic law, and the interaction of domestic law with public international law. Students will undertake a comparative study of contemporary transnational legal issues and examine trends in jurisdictional change and global harmonization in those contexts.
