SWK402 Integrated Methods in Social Work

This unit examines advanced practice models of family, narrative, and cognitive behavioural therapies currently used in social work practice. Students are assisted in integrating social work knowledge and practice theories in developing a personal practice approach.

This unit is provided predominantly online however all students must complete 5 days of face to face delivery either as an intensive or as a series of workshops. A 5 day intensive will be conducted as CDUs Casuarina campus however more locations and workshops may be offered depending on student demand. Please refer to the school's web site for further information http://www.cdu.edu.au/health/social-work.

Students undertaking the course externally must enrol internally in this unit due to the face to face content requirement. This does not alter a student's course study mode preference.
