SWK317 Dynamics of Loss and Grief
This unit examines the theoretical and intervention aspects of loss and grief in professional practice. Various frameworks are utilised in order to understand the nature and impact of loss experiences in individuals' lives. Loss and grief are considered beyond bereavement situations, so that an appreciation is developed of the range of loss. The experience of loss and grief is examined in relation to various stages of human development, community experiences, cultural perspectives, and complicated grief.
