The unit provides an option for students studying in Yolngu Languages and Culture to interact with and explore collaborative knowledge making processes within a Yolngu cultural context. The assessment in the unit would comprise a substantial and significant translation work or other substantial language related project. The aim of the unit is to provide students with the opportunity to put into practice the skills and knowledge gained about operating respectfully and productively in a Yolngu cultural setting, speaking Yolngu language to collaboratively create new language knowledge with Yolngu language speakers.
