DET502 - Medical Nutrition Therapy 2

This unit is the second of two Medical Nutrition Therapy units in the Master of Dietetics. Students will build on their knowledge from 'Medical Nutritional Therapy 1' and develop knowledge, skills, and client-centred practice, applying medical nutrition therapy in the treatment of complex clinical diseases and disorders. There is a strong focus on clinical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and clinical reasoning relevant to nutrition disorders, including aetiology; pathophysiology for a range of complex and specialised disease states in the clinical setting.
