Cancellation Policy
Order Cancellations
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase (before they are processed or shipped).

Once an order has been processed, packed, or shipped, we are unable to cancel it.

If your order has already shipped, you may still be eligible for a return. Please refer to our Return Policy.
How to Request a Cancellation
To request a cancellation, email us at bookshop@cdu.edu.au with:

Reason for cancellation
We will confirm whether your order is eligible for cancellation.
Refunds for Cancelled Orders
If your cancellation is approved:

Refunds are issued to your original payment method

Refund processing times vary by payment provider (typically 3–10 business days)
If your order cannot be cancelled because it has already shipped, you may still return it once it arrives. Please us self serve returns by logging into your CDU Bookstore Customer Account.
Pre‑Orders & Custom Items

Pre‑orders may be cancelled before production begins.

Custom or personalized items cannot be cancelled once production has started.
Failed Delivery or Refusal
If a package is returned to us due to refusal or failed delivery:

A refund will be issued minus shipping costs once the item is received back at our facility.
- If we receive it back and you would like it sent again, we will send you an invoice for additional shipping costs. Once paid we will ship again.
