NA Pre-service teachers will develop specialised knowledge of the philosophies, principles and practices of early childhood education in this postgraduate unit. Drawing on international theories, literature and documented practices, pre-service teachers will develop specialised theoretical and empirical knowledge of the pedagogical approaches of 'play' in early childhood education, programming and on curriculum issues confronting teachers of early childhood learners (zero to eight years of age).
