ECL228 Humanities, Social and Environmental Education in Early Childhood Education

This unit introduces students to key issues and knowledge of the study of humanities, society and environment. Students studying this unit will consider a range of social and environmental contexts and issues relevant to childhood, including home and local community, diversity, and the co-construction of values education and perspectives. They will engage a range of concepts, strategies and resources for teaching and learning in early childhood and primary settings, including play, applicable to approved national and state policies and curriculum guidelines.
