ECM581 - Teaching the Curriculum: Junior Secondary English

This postgraduate unit introduces pre-service teachers to the advanced concepts and pedagogies in the field of English teaching in junior secondary. With the in-depth knowledge of the Australian Curriculum: English and contemporary educational theories, pre-service teachers will critically review the strategies to program a secondary English curriculum that facilitates junior secondary students' ability to meet the learning outcomes across all three curriculum strands of Language, Literature and Literacy.
