ECO505 Economics of Sustainability
Business viability in today's competitive yet sustainability focused markets requires a deeper understanding of relevant economic policies and theory in order to guide strategy and decision making. This unit considers the economics of sustainability and draws on numerous microeconomics and macroeconomics concepts and theories. Students will acquire the knowledge and practical skills for assessing and enhancing long-term environmental and social sustainability of organisations. Students will critically examine emerging research on balancing financial imperatives with the environment and society.
