ECU510 - Primary Arts

    
This unit is designed to develop preservice teachers theoretical and practical skills in teaching primary arts. Drawing on the Australian Curriculum: The Arts, preservice teachers will develop an understanding of the five arts discipline areas: visual arts, media art, dance, drama and music. Engaging in various learning experiences will enable preservice teachers to critically review, synthesise and apply cognitive, pedagogical, and communicative skills. Preservice teachers will also develop skills in managing art-based classroom activities to support students wellbeing and safety.
