EIE501 - Inclusive Education, Policies and Practice
This unit provides a critical examination of advocacy and practice for inclusive education in Australian classrooms and schools. Learning access plans, goal setting, and differentiating the curriculum are taught, evaluated and considered as aspects of effective instruction for students with diverse learning needs. Strategies for creating inclusive education environments are drawn from the literature and experience and interrogated as necessary practices for continuous improvement in inclusive education.
