ENG227 Electromagnetics and Communication Technology

The unit provides an understanding of the concepts of electromagnetism and communication technology.It covers Maxwell's equations, electromagnetic wave propagation in waveguides, transmission lines, and antenna and array systems. It also covers components and system parameters of transmitter and receiver systems.This unit is reliant on on-line materials including electronic submission of assessment items. Students must have access to a reliable high-speed broadband connection and a scanner.
