ENG342 Instrumentation

This unit introduces students to instrumentation, measurement and control for the process engineering. Topics covered include: accuracy, precision and reproducibility; measurement of temperature, pressure and flow; transducers, signals and signal conditioning; principles of control: positive and negative feedback, PID controllers; process modelling and simulation.
