ENG462 Water Resources Engineering

Provides an understanding of the principles required for water management including, Hydrologic principles, frequency analysis, flood routing in rivers and storages, floodplain hydraulics, groundwater hydrology, design flood estimation, urban stormwater management, water resources and catchment management. The unit includes the critical evaluation of different design methods and integration of knowledge to practical applications.

This unit is reliant on on-line materials. Students must have access to a reliable high-speed broadband connection and a scanner.
