ENG524 - Power Engineering
The unit provides an understanding of energy transmission, with a particular emphasis on power systems. Students will develop the ability to identify, explain and safely resolve issues related to electrical circuits and machines. The unit covers electromechanical energy conversion, single and three phase alternating current circuits, transformers, direct current machines, synchronous machines, and induction machines.
