ESC200 Science Education 2: Physical and Earth/Space Sciences

The focus of this unit is the development of science as Understanding, a Human Endeavour and Inquiry Skills in physical science: understanding of forces, matter, energy, motion and earth/space science: an understanding of Earth's dynamic structure and its place in the cosmos. In this unit graduate teachers will challenge their concepts and processes of teaching and learning physical and earth/space science through scientific inquiry, planning and implementing of learning experiences that will develop a repertoire of teaching strategies, pedagogical content knowledge and management skills.
