EST501 - Managing the Classroom Environment and Student Wellbeing

This unit provides a critical evaluation of literature, theory and practices related to promoting positive behaviour and developing classroom management strategies. This unit also provides knowledge of theory of a Multi-tiered System of Support framework, and the understanding that evidence-based teaching practices and skill comprise the practical implementation of Tier 1 in the classroom. On completion of this unit, participants will have a repertoire of theoretical and empirical understandings and strategies to support diverse students to fully participate in learning.
